Norsepower harnesses the forces of nature – and Mr. Jufo Peltomaa – to support global growth of wind propulsion

New senior hire reflects the maritime industry’s growing interest in Norsepower’s wind propulsion technology to help improve environmental performance

Helsinki, Finland – 15th of August 2022: Norsepower Oy Ltd., the leading global provider of auxiliary wind propulsion systems, today announced the appointment of Mr Jufo Peltomaa as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He brings decades of international business experience in sustainability, technology branding, and marketing communications. Mr. Peltomaa has founded a string of start-ups and joins Norsepower from a publicly listed company’s management team.

Mr Peltomaa has held management group-level positions at Avidly Plc., an international martech service provider, and Innofactor Plc., a Nordic IT infrastructure company. Companies launched by Mr Peltomaa include: Immersal Ltd, a pioneer in the field of augmented reality (exit to Hexahon Ltd. Nasdaq Stockholm: HEXA B in 2021) and Hybrid Graphics Ltd., a graphics technology company (exit to NVIDIA, Nasdaq: NVDA in 2006). Norsepower will also be able to draw upon Peltomaa’s successful career in the advertisement agency SEK & Grey during which time his campaigns won multiple international awards.
