Scandlines operates the world's largest fleet of hybrid ferries, which combine diesel and battery power. Installation of one 30x5 Rotor Sail reduces the emissions of the hybrid ferry M/V Copenhagen even further. Sailing between Rostock (DE) and Gedser (DK), the wind conditions are expected to be favourable for wind propulsion. The savings performance of the Rotor Sail installation was measured by SSPA.
